Rain on the fourth day saved Pakistan from defeat, Bangladesh will have to score only 143 runs on the fifth day
PAK vs BAN 2nd Test: Pakistan had set a target of 185 runs for Bangladesh on the fourth day of the second Test. By the end of the fourth day’s play, Bangladesh has scored 42 runs without losing any wicket. This match is being played in Rawalpindi, Pakistan and the visiting team still needs 143 runs to win. Actually, Bangladesh was trying to chase the target quickly, but it rained after the tea break on the fourth day, due to which Pakistan team has been saved from defeat for the time being.
By the tea break on the fourth day, Bangladesh had scored 37 runs in 6 overs. After both the teams came back on the field, only one over could be played. When the seventh over of the innings was bowled, dark and dense clouds covered the sky, due to which both the ground umpires, after discussing with each other, stopped the day’s play. Shortly after that, it started raining and the ground was completely covered with covers.
By the end of the third day, Pakistan had scored 9 runs after losing 2 wickets. On the fourth day, the host team was all out at a score of 172. For Bangladesh, Zakir Hasan is currently at the crease with 23 runs and Shadman Islam with 9 runs. Since Bangladesh has to score 143 runs in the whole day and all 10 wickets are left. In such a difficult situation, only a miracle can save Pakistan from losing.

Since Bangladesh is leading 1-0 in the 2 Test match series, even if the fifth day i.e. tomorrow’s game is not played due to bad weather, Bangladesh will still create history by winning the series 1-0.
