Further Karishma said, ‘At that time Shammi Uncle and Shashi Uncle’s wives, Geeta Ji and Jennifer Aunty, worked after marriage. So there is no such thing that in the Kapoor family one cannot work after marriage or that Kapoor girls cannot work. There was nothing like that.’

Karishma said that she was interested in acting, so she came into acting. Similarly, Kareena and Ranbir also came. But Riddhima was not interested in acting, so she chose another career option. There was no restriction on anyone to choose their career.
